We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Product Manager with deep expertise in roadmap development and appeal process optimization. In this role, you will lead initiatives that improve operational workflows, elevate user satisfaction, and drive organizational success.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Management and Roadmap Development
- Develop and maintain product roadmaps that balance business goals with user needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple value streams to prioritize features and ensure effective implementation.
- Adapt roadmaps to changing requirements and feedback while maintaining a focus on delivering value.
- Use data and user insights to guide decision-making and enhance product strategies.
Appeal Process Optimization
- Analyze existing appeal processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure appeal workflows align with user needs and compliance requirements.
- Design and implement solutions that streamline appeal processes and enhance usability.
- Monitor the success of process improvements and recommend adjustments as needed.
User-Centered Approach
- Conduct user research and usability testing to refine appeal processes and product features.
- Translate user feedback into actionable improvements and intuitive design elements.
- Create user personas and journey maps to inform product and process strategies.
Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with and provide guidance to UX/UI personnel to align design efforts with product objectives.
- Mentor and coach team members to improve skills in human-centered design and usability principles.
- Communicate product roadmaps, updates, and performance metrics clearly to internal and external audiences.
Qualifications:
- Experience in product management, with a focus on roadmap development and process optimization.
- Experience in Federal Health Insurance Marketplace operations and regulations preferred.
- Strong understanding of Human-Centered Design principles and methodologies.
- Familiarity with appeal/case management workflows, compliance considerations, or similar operational processes.
- Knowledge of Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and experience with project management tools like JIRA.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across teams and stakeholders.
- Experience with metrics and data analytics to measure performance and optimize processes
- Exposure to user research or usability testing is a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards, such as 508 Compliance/Web Accessibility Standards, is a plus.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Candidates must have lived in the United States 3 out of the past 5 years.
Education and Experience:
- BA or BS Degree required.
- 8 years of product management experience with proven success in roadmap development, appeal process optimization, and user-centered design integration.
